THIS IS A 6 CYL, FUEL INJECTED, FOUR STROKE OUTBOARD WITH POWER TRIM AND TILT. THESE 250HP YAMAHA  OUTBOARDS ARE BOTH  RELIABLE AND FUEL EFFICIENT. WITH THEIR VARIABLE CAM TIMING THEY REALLY PUNCH OUT OF THE HOLE WHILE PROVIDED CRISP MID RANGE AND TOP END POWER.  

WE ACQUIRED THIS MOTOR LOCALLY . IT CAME IN AS A TRADE IN TOWARDS A TOWARDS NEW F300 YAMAHA FOUR STROKE. THEY WERE USED ON A SEACRAFT AND THE TOTAL HOURS WERE ONLY 1012

MECHANICALLY THE MOTOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE NOW. COMPRESSION WAS 180-185 PER CYLINDER. IT FIRES RIGHT UP, PUMPS GOOD WATER , SHIFTS SMOOTH AND SOUNDS EXCELLENT WHEN YOU RAP THE THROTTLE.  

COSMETICALLY THE MOTOR LOOKS GOOD.  THE PAINT AND DECALS ARE ORIGINAL AND STILL LOOK GOOD. THE POWERHEAD IS VERY CLEAN AND THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE MOTOR WILL DEFINETLY MAKE THE NEW OWNER PROUD.
